Role Overview:

We are a small, yet fast-growing local construction company actively seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Foreman to lead on-site operations for concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on concrete experience, including supervisory responsibilities in commercial, industrial, or civil projects. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of concrete work from start to finish.

Job Summary: The Foreman will have direct responsibility for administrative and technical management of the construction site. This position will oversee self-performance labor. Other responsibilities include ensuring safety for all, monitoring the quality of work performed, and adhering to a schedule. The Foreman will coordinate directly with the Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily concrete work on job sites, including forming, pouring, reinforcing, and finishing
• Lead and manage crews to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Monitor material usage and coordinate deliveries as needed
• Maintain accurate daily reports and field documentation
• Work closely with superintendent, subcontractors, and inspectors to meet deadlines and resolve site issues
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site

Experience and Knowledge Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of concrete construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role
• Deep knowledge of concrete forming, placement, reinforcement, and finishing techniques
• Ability to manage and motivate crews under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with construction safety practices and OSHA standards
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to pass a background check is required

We are a small, yet fast-growing local company seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for construction, particularly in concrete work. As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in various tasks related to concrete installation and finishing, ensuring high-quality results in both residential and commercial projects.

Duties may include the following:

• Laying and tying rebar
• Drilling holes in concrete, rebars or dowels
• Using lumber to form curbs and flatwork for each project
• Edging, smoothing out and finishing the concrete
• Follow proper concrete procedures
• Load and unload materials at the beginning and end of day
• Complete all preparation and clean up responsibilities before and after project completion
• Time management skills to ensure the job is completed on time so that the next phase can start.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment assigned to you, by keeping it clean, checking fluids etc.
• Utilize concrete pumping techniques to efficiently place concrete in hard-to-reach areas.
• May be required to work evenings and weekends, depending on business needs.
• Customer-service skills to communicate with the Forman, crew and administration to develop a positive working relationship

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience handling concrete
• Ability to pass background check
• Have a valid REAL ID driver’s license and reliable form of transportation
• Able to bend down and up for periods of time
• Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
• Be willing to work under unpredictable weather conditions
• Willing to work evenings and weekends (on occasion)
• A plus if you can read plans, shoot grades, read elevations on survey stakes.
